Not a consumer reporting agency. This site does not fall under the Fair Credit Reporting Act's definition of a consumer reporting agency. The information here, and on any third-party search tool linked from here, may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or any other purpose the FCRA covers.
Accuracy of Information
Government offices change phone numbers, addresses, fees, and procedures without notice. Butler County publishes no online jail roster, so a phone call to the office is often the only current source. Call before you act on any detail read here, whether that detail is a phone number, a fee, or an office hour.
Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice. A website cannot replace a licensed Alabama attorney, and a question about a specific case deserves a real conversation with one.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some pages include search boxes run by third-party providers. We do not control what those tools return, what they charge, or how they handle the data you submit to them. Their results are their product, not ours.
Outbound Links
Links lead to sheriff, jail, and court pages, to state and federal locator services, and to other resources. We do not manage those destinations and are not responsible for their content or their availability.
No Records on This Site
This site hosts no jail rosters, no booking photos, no mugshot galleries, no arrest records, and no court records. To confirm custody or obtain a record, request it from the Butler County Sheriff's Office at 334-382-6521, the Butler County Correctional Facility at 334-382-3321, or the office that issued the record. An arrest or booking photo records an accusation, not a conviction, and every arrested person is presumed innocent unless a court finds otherwise.
